Package Problems
Gonorrhea
Symptoms
Many times there are no symptoms.
Symptoms for women may include pain or burning while urinating, increased vaginal discharge, and bleeding between periods.
Symptoms for men may include burning while urinating, white, yellow or green discharge from penis, and sometimes swollen or painful testicles.
How it’s Spread
Gonorrhea is spread through contact with an infected penis, vagina, mouth, or anus.
Gonorrhea can also affect the throat and eyes if they come in contact with infected body part.
It can also be spread from mother to baby during vaginal delivery.
Treatment
Most strains can be cured with prescribed antibiotics. There are some strains that are drug-resistant, which make successful treatment difficult.
