Our Office of Executive Storks has set out to make a change. Different efforts are underway to help Iowans between 18 and 30 plan the right time for a delivery. The S.O.D.S. partners with The Iowa Initiative to Reduce Unintended Pregnancies, pharmacists, salons, family planning clinics, the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and others to spread the word about how to get the right Stork Insurance (aka: Birth Control) that will delay a knock on the door from one of our delivery crew until someone is absolutely ready.
As the nation’s leader in shipping and handling of life’s little bundles of joy, the team at Stork Overnight Delivery Service (S.O.D.S) is shooting for 100% satisfaction. For us, this means ensuring that all our deliveries were planned in advance and nobody receives a delivery until they are ready. Trust us, there is nothing worse for business than an unexpected delivery.
Unfortunately, the S.O.D.S. has learned that approximately 50% of the deliveries we make to 18 to 30 year olds in Iowa come as a surprise to their recipients. Surprise deliveries put people at risk for a lot of unfavorable life outcomes – like being poor, not finishing school, constantly smelling like baby powder, not achieving your dreams, losing your freedom, and learning to eat only pureed food (Delish!) before you are ready.
Here at S.O.D.S. we understand that an unexpected delivery can change bodies, budgets and future ambitions. Over the next couple of years, we’ll be flying into communities across Iowa to interrupt poorly planned dirty bird behavior. Where people eat, drink, play, and relax – the S.O.D.S. will make an appearance. Look high and low for a Stork near you.
So until you’re ready for delivery, use protection and Avoid the Stork.
